Baptism (or Christening)  marks the beginning of someone’s journey with God. The journey is about discovering more about the Christian faith and how that changes our lives. Baptism is for everyone – babies, children and adults.

As a person gets older and more able to make decisions for themselves the

Baptism service changes to reflect this. An adult or older child makes the promises for themselves. A baby or young child has Godparents to make the promises for them.

Baptism is available for anyone who has not previously been baptised/christened.
